Garda → Torri del Benaco
Starting from Garda, follow the Gardesana Orientale northwards. It’s a short, pleasant walk that takes you quickly to Torri del Benaco.
Not to be missed: the Scaligero Castle with its historic lemon house.
Traghetto: Torri → Toscolano Maderno
At Torri, hop on the ferry with your Vespa to reach the Lombardy side.
Journey time: approximately 30 minutes.
Frequency: every 30–60 minutes.
Maderno → Limone sul Garda (30km)
Continue north along the Gardesana Occidentale. This stretch is famous throughout the world for its tunnels carved into the rock and its spectacular views overlooking the lake.
Limone → Riva → Malcesine (25km)
Carry on to Riva del Garda, the northernmost point of the lake, surrounded by imposing mountains. It then begins to wind its way down the Veronese shore towards Malcesine.
Malcesine → Garda (28km)
The final stretch takes you back to the starting point. It passes through Brenzone and Torri, completing the loop and returning to Garda.

- Ferry timetables: please check the official Navigazione Laghi website for any changes to the service or maintenance notices.
- Tunnels: make sure your Vespa’s lights are in perfect working order so you can travel safely through the tunnels between Maderno and Limone.
- Parking: look out for the designated motorbike parking areas in Limone and Malcesine.
