Useful tips for 2026
- Wine tasting: if you take part in a tasting, remember that in Italy, being a designated driver requires the utmost responsibility. If you’re due to set off again, avoid drinking alcohol or use the spittoon whilst tasting.
- Get your camera ready: San Giorgio is one of the most spectacular vantage points from which to admire Lake Garda from above. Don’t miss the sunset from here.
- Unpaved: some secondary roads through the vineyards may have a light layer of gravel. Drive carefully.
